CelebNMusic247.com has this report on the upcoming Escape From New York, Road House Remake And Indian Jones Sequel.

Here’s the details of whats to come in the next few years from Hollywood. You know the place that wants to redo everything bigger and better with more effects and less story.

Before you write off Indiana Jones with Harrison Ford we have this news thanks to Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, who were doing a Q&A for their new film Bridge of Spies. Let us NOT forget that it was said that Harrison will be passing over the hat, gloves and whip to Chris Pratt.

That is when Spielberg said the following:

“We’ve gotta figure this out because now. Tom is tied with Harrison Ford: Harrison and I did four movies, Tom and I have done four movies. Now I’ll probably do an Indy 5 with Harrison. It’ll be five for Harrison, four for Tom… [Then] I’ve got to make another one with Tom, so that will be five for Tom, five for Harrison. And I think I’m going to leapfrog that way for the rest of my career. With Daniel Day-Lewis in everything else!”

Hold up, so there is another Indy on the way?

As for the remake to Escape to New York that originally starred Kurt Russell has just taken a giant step forward since the movie now has a writer on board.

Here is what CelebNMusic247.com is hearing about 20th Century Fox trying to develop an Escape From New York remake.

For several years now 20th Century Fox has been trying to develop an Escape From New York remake with very little movement. However, according to a story in The Hollywood Reporter that project has just taken a major step forward as it television’s Luthor creator Neil Cross has signed on to write the screenplay. Set in a dystopian future in the year 1997, the 1981 original starred Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken, an eyed-patched convict sent into a maximum security prison (formerly the island of Manhattan) to rescue the President.

We are seriously looking forward to a Escape From New York remake.

Lastly is the Patrick Swayze classic, Road House. We previously reported that UFC superstar Ronda Rousey would star in the upcoming remake of Road House.

Instead of having a man as the bouncer at a a road side bar called The Road House saloon, the remake with give the movie a gendar twist.

During the announcement of the remake, there was no director involved until now. According to a story in The Hollywood Reporter, The Notebook and Alpha Dog director Nick Cassavetes will take over the film. Maybe the film will be good afterall since Nick has a keen eye for action and he knows how to make actors look extra badass in the movies.

What do you think?

Will you head out to the movies to watch any of these films?
