(CelebNMusic247-News) Morrissey Cancels Tour Dates Due to Illness
The Smiths alum, Morrissey forced to cancel more tour dates of his upcoming shows, due to illness.
Earlier this month Morrissy cancelled some tour dates, citing a bleeding ulcer and Barrett’s esophagus as the reason for his cancelation.
Now the Years of Refusal singer rep said at the time of the first cancelations:
“Morrissey thanks everyone concerned for their well wishes during this time and hopes for a speedy recovery.”
While he intended to resume his tour in El Paso on Feb. 12, that show was canceled and he announced that the tour would return on Feb. 21 in Denver. However, things have not gone as planned and Morrissey once again had to cancel.
A post on Morrissey’s Facebook page reads:
“Morrissey is currently undergoing treatment for a bleeding ulcer and Barrett’s esophagus. These shows are in the process of being rescheduled immediately and all patrons are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as the new dates will be announced shortly. Morrissey thanks everyone concerned for their well wishes and looks forward to getting back on the road.”
Sad news for The Smith’s and Morrissey fans, because the melodic singer has now cancelled his Feb. 22 show in Salt Lake City and Feb. 24 show in San Francisco.
There is no reports of the shows being rescheduled.
