Meet The Cast of BAPS

Lifetime has a new reality TV series that will follow an exclusive, privileged and affluent group of African American friends from St. Louis who self-identify as “BAPs”—Black American Princesses and Princes.

There is a new reality TV series starting on Lifetime which is unrelated 1997 film B*A*P*S, starring Halle Berry as a girl from a poor Atlanta suburb who meets a wealthy white man who turn her and her friend into “Black American Princesses.”

Anyways, BAPS aka Black American Princess premieres on Lifetime on Wednesday at 10pm, so CelebNMusic247.com has your first look at another new reality series.

First let us introduce you to the cast of the reality series BAPS:

Anisha Morrell – Through a myriad of heart breaks and heartaches, she is a stronger person and tells it like it is and was, whether it’s popular or not. Anisha, 37, is a Cause Marketing and PR Contractor, Owner of KingMaker, LLC & full time Doctoral student.

Brandon Williams – He is a 36-year-old attorney and his motto is the reasonable, yet indifferent one.

Jason K. Wilson – is a 41-year-old Owner/CEO of Northwest Coffee Roasting & Chronicle Coffee. Jason holds a BS from an HBCU in Texas and an MBA from the prestigious Washington University, coffee company owner Jason offers the cast a voice of reason amidst feuding parties and a constant reminder about the historical class divides and internal discrimination within the Black community that impede its collective progress.

Kendrick Evans – is a 37-year-old Founder and CEO, Redy Rock Enterprises – Redy Rock Communications,LLC, Redy Rockets, LLC and Redy Rock Entertainment. He feels that he is the truth. He’s a certified boss and 100 percent genuine. And, NOT fake. If you are not coming with the real, do not come at all.

Kristen Gipson Jones – She’s a career woman, with a family, trying to juggle it all while maintaining my sanity. Kristen is a 3-year-old Operations Manager for family business (McDonald’s).

Rai-Rai Evans – She’s the youngest cast member. Even though I am not a BAP, I am still a successful black woman. Rai-Rai, 28, is a Biology Major at the University of Missouri Saint Louis.

Riccarda Lacey – claims to be the other voice of reason and peace maker in the group. I am an insider with an outsider POV because while I grew up in the BAP world, I left it when I moved to Hollywood, so I bring that unique perspective to group. Riccada is 34 and a Television Producer/Development Executive.

Here’s the breakdown:

Lifetime’s new docu-series “BAPs” pulls back the curtain on an exclusive, privileged and affluent group of African American friends from St. Louis who self-identify as “BAPs”—Black American Princesses and Princes.

The show BAPs follows these lifelong friends who are edgy, educated and sophisticated, and believe being a BAP in today’s world is a birthright.

Each hour-long episode of “BAPs” delves into the lives and lifestyle of this well-heeled circle of friends. Dressed to the nines with egos to spare, there is no shortage of conflict, humor and heart among the group that includes Anisha, Kristen, Gina, Jason, Riccarda and Brandon. With a dynamic that can change from BFFs to frenemies at the drop of a hat, together they attend St. Louis’ most exclusive social institutions and events… but no occasion is conflict-free. Competing to be the most successful and beautiful person in their circle is sure to bind and divide them, especially when Anisha’s boyfriend, Kendrick, and his niece, Rai-Rai, represent everything a BAP is not. “BAPs” is produced by Asylum Entertainment and Steve Michaels and Jonathan Koch are the executive producers. Lifetime’s Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Kimberly Chessler also executive produce. Six episodes of BAPs have been ordered for this season.

The new docu-reality series kicks off on Wednesday, July 23rd, at 10pm ET/PT.
