Hip Hop Icon MC Lyte Is Back with ‘Ball’ Ft Lil Mama and AV giving is the first piece of her upcoming, yet-to-be-titled 2015 album.

Lyte, who love, is coming with it in this new video “Ball” which is finding much support by friend in our head Missy Elliott.

The Ron Yuan-directed video kicks off with the MC taking questions from Shanghai Entertainment News reporters. As she gets ready to answer the Brooklyn, NY rap vet shows she hasn’t missed a beat when she takes us on a choreographed field trip with Lil Mama and singer AV.

So far Lyte is two-for-two on new songs so we can’t wait to hear what she does next. A few weeks ago MC Lyte threw us a bone with the track, “Dear John” a contemplative collab with Common which served as the new anthem for her scholarship initiative #EducateOURMen.
