Martha Stewart has took her celebrity feud with the Goop goddess Gwyneth Paltrow in the pages of her magazine, publishing a spread cheekily titled “Conscious Coupling” in the latest issue of Martha Stewart Living.
Oh the Shade of it!
Martha took a dig and dug deep into her Goop.com nemesis in regards to her split with her husband, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, which was titled “consciously uncouple” after 10 years of marriage.
Martha’s “Conscious Coupling” article reads as follows in the latest issue of Martha Stewart Living:
“Every Thanksgiving table should be blessed with the presence of a long-married pair who bring out the best in each other, are completely enamored despite their differences, and leave every other guest thinking, I’ll have what they’re having,” the Martha Stewart Living piece begins. “Our holiday pies honor such partnerships, each spotlighting the perfect marriage of crust and filling so there’s a pleasant mix of textures and flavors in every bite.”
Before Martha’s latest attack, Paltrow, 42, weighed in on the 73-year-old lifestyle guru’s comment that if she “were confident in her acting she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart.”
Paltrow sarcastically joked:
“No one has ever said anything bad about me before, so I’m shocked and devastated.”
“I’ll try to recover.”
