Marla Thomas Doesn’t Believe In Holding Moniece Hand!!!

Well last night we learned that Marla Thomas is NOT there for her daughter like most parents, since Marla Thomas Doesn’t Believe In Holding Moniece Hand.

This may be Marla’s truth, but it really makes her look like a villain on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood because Rich and Fizz were shocked by her advice.

First Marla sat with Rich Dollaz to spill the tea on her daughter’s anger issues that caused her to lose custody of she and Fizz son. She explained to Rich that cops arrived at the scene of the dispute and decided that Moniece was the aggressor so they cuffed her daughter. Marla went on the explain that she just wanted Richie Dollaz to get a “full picture” of who Moniece is. She goes on saying that she is only “trying to help.”

No matter what Marla thinks she was doing, the sit down with Rich once again makes Marla look like the villain. What parent is willing to throw their daughter under the bus with her boyfriend unless this was he secret way of sabotaging her daughter’s happiness.

Is Marla an undercover hater?

Here is why we ask – – – later Marla has another sitdown with, but this time with Fizz. She tells him that he needs to take her daughter to court so he can get FULL custody of their son. Fizz is devastated by Marla’s advice and tearfully fires back saying that his son needs a mother. Marla says she understands but there is nothing more that she can do to help Moniece.

Fizz just wants Moniece to be a part of her son’s life, which we find interesting because during season 1 it was Moniece pleading with Fizz to be in their son’s life and now she’s MIA. Since Moniece lost custody it appears that she’s dusted off her shoulder any responsibilities of motherhood.

Marla tells Fizz that’s the hard knocks of single parenting, because she’s washed her hands of helping Moniece. What we find interesting is that Marla reached out to us to correct her last name, but when we asked for an interview to speak with her about all of this she never responded. She wants to exploit herself on reality TV, but not speak her truth with us. We just wanted to give Marla an opportunity to speak her mind, but hey it’s all good 15 minutes is just that. 15 minutes!

We would like to raise one question.

Why is it in black culture parents feel that once their kids are 17 their parenting years are over?

Before you clap back we spoke to a few of our friends who talked about how they’re not trying to fall into that stereotype. They watched LHHH2 and felt Marla was supporting a stereotype that their family was trying to break.

In every other culture, parents remain parents their whole life to the end and are there for their children. My mom is still there for me in support if needed, but we do all on our own. It’s the support that helps. Parents need to be there for their kids at every age. When Moniece is 40, Marla should be there! Unfortunately she came off like Moniece is on her own. Life is short and we all need family and friends to lean on. Support is helpful, and yes, sometimes its hard, but being a parent NEVER ends!

No matter how hard it was for you, the job of parenting is to make life easier for your kids and to be better than your parents. To correct the mistakes you experienced – NOT to come off bitter and be like well that’s the hard knocks of parenting so deal with it.

It comes off very selfish!

After Fizz spoke with Marla – he met with Moniece for a very moving moment. Fizz realized that Marla has basically washed her hands of Moniece. It’s Marla’s way of forcing Moniece to step up as a mom, but it’s NOT working. Maybe if Fizz shows that he cares more, Moniece will get back to being a mom.

Watch as Fizz and Moniece, the co-parents come to terms with a difficult truth involving their family:

Meanwhile Marla posted a series of advice on her Instagram over the pas few months while filming the show.

She started off saying:

“There is a fine line between loving our children and enabling them! This I can tell you, “the longer you hold on, the harder it is to watch them fall!”
