CelebNMusic247.com reports that Malika Haqq spent the last two years on the arm of rapper O.T. Genasis but she surprised everyone with a new Instagram post saying it’s OVER.
Malika Haqq announced the SPLIT from O.T. Genasis with the hashtag “Single.”
A source close to the couple has said:
There’s no bad blood between them, [but] She is for sure single.
The source also revealed that Malika and O.T. also said that given what he does for a living “it was hard for them both give 100 percent” but stated they had a positive separation.
O.T and Haqq last appeared in a pic on her Instagram in January and that was a group photo with Trey Songz, rapper Jeezy, Jeannie Mai, and Lori Harvey.
Malika said:
Falling in love can be one of the most beautiful things. Unfortunately, being vulnerable to one’s choices can lead to heartbreak.
She added:
Healing and forgiving is a personal job done at every individual’s pace. Life is one big lesson, a lesson in love.
There appeared to have been some back and forth with things getting rocky and improving with subsequent posts saying “I’m cute. He’s special. We better together,”

We liked them together, but Malika and O.T. seem to have been civil about their split. They’ll be ok.
