Lil Wayne, Drake, Tyga and Nicki Minaj are once again teaming up with the follow up to the 2009 intorduction/showcase album We Are Young Money.
We Are Young Money was the album that introduced the world to Nicki, Drake and Tyga with the song “Bedrock.” Now five year later Wayne is teaming up with his YMCMB crew with a second installment properly titled Young Money: Rise of an Empire, due out March 11 on Young Money/Cash Money.
The album is set to feature Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and many noblemen and women.
The rise of the YMCMB empire is an apt title, considering that Minaj and Drake only held on a fraction of rap cachet in 2009 as they do today. The 2014 paddock will also feature Gudda Gudda, Shanell, Lil Twist, Christina Milian, and new label signee Euro.
The full tracklist has not yet leaked, but we do know that it will include Drake’s victory lap “Trophies” as well as a new track from Wayne, Birdman and Euro called “We Alright”
