(CelebNMusic247-News) Lena Dunham Speaks Out On Lampanelli N-Word Controversy

Lena Dunham found herself in a controversies she NEVER thought she’d be a part of, but she is speaking out about her views on the Lisa Lampanelli Twitter controversy.

Lisa Lampanelli pissed off a lot of people after she took to Twitter and posted a photo of herself with Dunham, along with the caption, “Me with my n—a ?@LenaDunham of ?@HBOGirls — I love this beyotch!!”

Well the Girls star has opened up saying that she was aware this made a lot of people extremely uncomfortable. Dunham was just in the photo, she did NOT make the sideways comment.

Thanks to writer Shayla Pierce (who wrote about the incident), Dunham finally gave a statement – in 140 character increments, of course. (A rep for Dunham did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comments about the tweets.). There are so many problems when it comes to the “voice of a generation” and people need to beware of it!
