Kim Defends Kanye Over False Wheelchair Report!!!

Earlier this week it was said that Kanye West demanded that a fan in a wheelchair to stand up during his Sept. 12 concert in Australia his wife Kim Defends Kanye Over False Wheelchair Report!

Kim Kardashian-West is OUTRAGED that the media blew something out of nothing when Kanye said “I can’t do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t,” during his show.

Kim took to Instagram on Sept. 15 to fight for her husband.

Kim said:

“What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media. Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNight #TheMediaTwistsThings”

Kim is right — Kanye did give a special call-out to the handi-capable.

Kanye said, “I can’t do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t,” according to TMZ.

The problem is that the comment was likely hurtful to the person in the wheelchair.  According to the initial report about the incident, the crowd actually boo’ed the person who physically couldn’t stand up (they weren’t aware the person was in a wheelchair).

While it’s nice that Kim wants to defend the man she loves, it’s fairly obvious that the incident, despite being a big miscommunication, has offended many.

Kanye said this about the media: “They want the masses, the people who have never even heard one of my albums to somehow read a headline … and think I’m a bad person.”

He also said: “Look at me for a second. Take a step back and look at this. I’m a married, Christian man with a family. At my concerts I make sure everybody has as good of a time as possible.”

He ended by saying, “Pick a new target.”

Interesting enough it seems as though Kanye doesn’t think he needs to apologize for the situation, either. At this point it doesn’t matter Kanye you apologize for his fans not understanding what he said. Other then that he said nothing wrong.

Should Kanye apologize?
