CelebNMusic247.com has just got word that legendary guitarist Keith Richards who has enjoyed a career spanning more than 50 years believes the clock is ticking Taylor Swift’s career.
Taylor Swift released her sixth studio album ‘Reputation’ in November, but that means nothing according to Keith Richards.
The Rolling Stones guitarist suggest that Taylor Swift may not enjoy the same longevity as a musician. Richards had this to say about Taylor to the Wall Street Journal’s Men’s Style issue:
“Good luck girl – wish her well while it lasts.”
“I’ve just been around too long to be picking the bones out of kids. It wouldn’t be fair of me and I’ve always been an opinionated b*****d anyway.”
Keith goes on to reveal his distaste for pop music, saying:
“And I never did really like pop music ? even when I became pop music, I was listening to the blues and jazz and not interested in the hits.”
This is not the first time the 74-year-old rocker has taken aim at Taylor. He previously told GQ he felt Swift was the music industries ‘flavor of the month’.
“Taylor is a pretty girl. I don’t think about the competition. I mean they’re the flavor of the month, aren’t they?”
Meanwhile, Tay Tay continues to compliment the Stones regardless of Richards aversion for the pop singer. She previously said:
“The way that you see them give everything they have for every single performance, that’s what makes fans loyal to them and that’s been a huge influence on my entire outlook on my career.”
Wake up girl, he just doesn’t like you!
