The video of Kanye West proposing to Kim Kardashian on her birthday leaked after a shady friend video taped the proposal and posted it on YouTube.

Kim couldn’t have looked happier, and she appeared to be crying tears of joy in the video! And then the couple kissed and embraced in a very long, loving, real-looking hug of happiness. The scene may have been filmed for KUWTK – in fact, it looked like it was — but it truly seemed like Kim was taken by total surprise with Kanye’s proposal. She may have been expecting a special birthday present, but not this big moment — at least not then.
In any case, you have to admire how lovingly Kanye put together the whole beautiful, detailed proposal. He booked the stadium, he arranged for the Jumbotron to say “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!”, he had a 50-piece orchestra, he had big, big Roman candles going off to illuminate the sky, and he arranged for their nearest and dearest to hide out in the dugout until after his proposal and then surprise his new fiance. All the women were dressed to the nines in gowns, including Kourtney Kardashian in red. Even Jaden Smith, Kylie Jenner‘s boyfriend, made an appearance.
The proposal turned into a full-blown party, and why not? There’s lots to celebrate! Kim is beaming in an entirely genuine way in all of the photos – truly happy that her longtime love and the father of North West would now be her life partner.
