While many speculate Kim and Kris Jenner will most likely try to sell first photos of little North West to the highest bidder, most people still can’t get over the fact that the rapper and reality star actually named their daughter North West.
Personally, we think the name is dope, but Kanye and Kim have been highly criticized for naming their daughter North. Those close to the couple are claiming they aren’t happy with the criticism surrounding their baby’s name.
As of today, Kanye and Kim contacted micro-bloggers TMZ to defend their choice.
The website reports:
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were not inspired by a compass when they named their kid North … fact is, the name’s more inspirational than directional.
Sources close to K & K tell TMZ … they chose the name North because they see it as a metaphor for “up”, telling friends, “What’s North of North? Nothing.” Translation … nothing better.
We’re told the duo believes baby North is their highest point together as a couple … the pinnacle of the relationship … and they consider her their “North Star.”
