Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Are Married

Great news Real Housewives of Atlanta because our favorite couple on the Bravo reality TV series Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are officially married.

The reality TV couple tied the knottas of Friday and Mama Joyce was there to walk her daughter Kandi down the isle. The couple married yesterday evening (April 4, 2014) in a private ceremony held at Le Fais do-do in Atlanta. What we learned was that guests were told to wear shades of purple in their attire and to arrive by 5pm.

CelebNMusic247.com has heard that that those that were in attendance thought the wedding was absolutely beautiful. In fact, sources close to the couple are claiming there was plenty of drama that took place before the big day.

Word is, Todd’s mom actually confronted Mama Joyce two days before the wedding and even called her a messy b*tch, according to Straight From The A.

“For all of you who had doubts, Mama Joyce was there and actually walked Kandi down the aisle. While I’ve heard Mama Joyce threw up her hands in disgust when asked ‘who gives this bride,’ at least she walked away without a confrontation and allowed the wedding to proceed.” – SFTA

Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas, Phaedra Parks (she was even a bridesmaid) and Apollo Nida, Sheree Whitfield, Rasheeda and Kirk Frost were in attendance as far as reality stars are concerned.

Kenya Moore and NeNe Leakes were both no shows, but we’re assuming that’s because both are currently filming for two other reality shows (Celebrity Apprentice and Dancing With The Stars).

Of course the Bravo cameras were rolling for Kandi’s big day, but we’re thinking the footage will actually be for her upcoming wedding spinoff show instead of RHOA.

Tiny Harris was Kandi’s maid of honor for the big wedding and her bridesmaids were Fantasia Barrino, Rasheeda Frost and TamieraWynn. T.I. was also in attendance since they’ve all been friends since the days of Xscape.

Despite the drama all season with her mother Kandi was able to move forward with her wedding with Todd Tucker and keep a smile.

Burruss tells In Touch Weekly:

“This is one of the best days of my life! I never imagined that I would marry my best friend. Todd’s been that to me. And to have just had the wedding of my dreams, it’s all been so beautiful. Now it’s time to party!”
