(CelebNMusic247-News) Joe and Teresa Giudice Facing Additional Fraud Charges

More bad news for Joe and Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey because they are now facing additional fraud charges.

Joe and Teresa Giudice were indicted Monday (Nov 18) on one count of bank fraud and one count of loan application fraud.  In October, Teresa Giudice admitted that she doesn’t understand the charges and the severity of them.

To recap, Teresa and Joe Giudice are facing charges against them, which include bank fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and making false statements on loan applications, which are certainly serious.

But in actuality thing are just NOT looking good for the reality TV couple…

Here’s the drop on Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice and Teresa Giudice:

All of the 39 counts listed in the original indictment against the Giudices — handed up in federal court in late July — still stand, added U.S Paul Fishman in a statement. In that indictment, which made national headlines this summer, the Giudices were accused of conspiring to fraudulently obtain millions of dollars in mortgages and other loans and of hiding significant assets and income during their two-year bankruptcy proceedings, authorities have said.

Joe Giudice, 43, was also accused of failing to file tax returns from 2004 to 2008, when he allegedly earned nearly $1 million.

If convicted of those counts, authorities said at the time, each reality TV star could face dozens of years in prison – citing the statutory maximum terms listed for the counts. Typically, though, sentences are handed out in line with federal guidelines that usually involve less prison time than the maximums.

The two counts added against each Giudice in today’s indictment stem from a $361,250 mortgage loan that Teresa Giudice got in July 2005, authorities allege.

In the process of obtaining the loan, Teresa, 41, and Joe Giudice prepared a loan application that falsely said Teresa Giudice was employed as a Realtor and that she was taking home a monthly salary of $15,000, authorities say.

The couple will be arraigned on the new charges Nov. 20.
