JD Says Ciara’s New Single Is A Rip Off!!!

Ciara released the first single from her upcoming studio album weeks ago, but it appears music producer JD Says Ciara’s New Single Is A Rip Off.

When it comes to Ciara and her ex Future is feeling some kind of way about her  lyrics being about him, music producer Jermaine Dupri is also salty because he feels “I Bet” is just a rip-off of Usher’s smash hit “U Got It Bad.”

JD tells Billboard:

“Ciara’s new single is a complete rip-off of Usher’s ‘U Got It Bad.’m clear on what I made and I’m clear on how music influences people and I’m clear on chord changes and how people move things. … It might not be as evident as the ‘Blurred Lines’ situation, but I believe the same thing happened to me.”

Dupri tells Billboard that he, Usher and producer Bryan-Michael Cox heard the similarities of the two sings immediately.

Listen for yourself and weigh in, because JD also says it sounds a bit like Tamia’s “Still” and Usher’s “U Got It Bad,” which he produced.
