Jay-Z is expanding his Roc Nation empire by representing Actors
The rapper is planning to add film and TV stars to the groaning roster of his Roc Nation management firm.
Jay’s company is fast becoming a Who’s Who of music, with a talent-heavy line-up that includes SHAKIRA, KYLIE MINOGUE, RITA ORA, HAIM, TIMBALAND, RIHANNAand CALVIN HARRIS.
The company will be taking on models too – and has just moved into sport.
A source said: “Jay-Z is looking to build a global management company.
“He already manages artists at Roc Nation. But the plan is to start departments for actors, for TV personalities, models and designers, so they cover the whole entertainment industry.”
Jay started a sports agency through his firm this month – and has already signed up a top baseball player with the New York Yankees called ROBINSON CANO.
The rapper had to sell his share in the Brooklyn Nets basketball team in order to get his sports licence, though.
His fans will be hoping Jay somehow still finds the time to release a new album.
