McGee has played in just 28 games over the last two seasons while battling leg injuries, but with time to recover and get his legs back under him, he could potentially return to a much-needed rebounder and shot blocker — something Dallas desperately needs with the departure of Tyson Chandler.

In his last full season, 2012-13 with the Denver Nuggets, McGee played in 79 games and averaged 9.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
