Jason Pierre-Paul Finger Amputated!!!

Yes it’s true, we previously told you that New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul Blew Off his Fingers in Fireworks Accident and now Jason Pierre-Paul Finger Amputated.

After he was rushed to the hospital to have his fingers reattached, doctors have now decided to amputate Jason Pierre-Paul Finger.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned that doctors felt that this was the best way to save his finger since his 4th of July accident.

The Giants DE suffered injuries to both of his hands in an accident involving fireworks last weekend in South Florida. He’s since undergone numerous surgeries and is expected to remain hospitalized for two or three more days.

The 26-year-old had discussed his options with doctors and family members before the procedure, and ultimately decided that the amputation was the best decision for his health and his career going forward.

He also suffered fractures to his right thumb, which will take take longer to heal than the wound from his amputated right index finger.

Despite the procedure, he’s still expected to play this season.  Jason Pierre-Paul had his right index finger amputated Wednesday (July 8), sources told ESPN reporter Adam Schefter:

 

 

Pierre-Paul was one of two NFL players to suffer injuries over the Fourth of July weekend as Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback C.J. Wilson lost two fingers in another fireworks accident.
