We previously reported Tyrese gunning for the upcoming Green Lantern reboot, and now Is Tyrese Gibson Being Conscidered For Green Lantern Reboot?

The Furious 7 star Tyrese Gibson has been gunning for the role of John Stewart since the Green Lantern Reboot will be focusing on the Green Lantern Corp, which follows Hal Jordan and John Stewart.

Tyrese took to his social media on Wednesday posting this photo of himself as the Green Lantern  with the caption:

“Sh-t just got real – #doubleoath #doubletrouble #GreenLantern #WB.”

Many have been speculating that Warner Bros.’ reboot in the Green Lantern franchise will feature two different members of the Green Lantern Corps, and that Tyrese could be playing one of them.

During Tyrese’s listening party for his final album Black Rose at Samsung Studio L.A. on Wednesday night, ET asked 36-year-old Fast and Furious star about the Green Lantern casting rumors.

Tyrese said, cautiously:

“There are certain things I can’t speak on.”

 “But I will say, however this works out, it’s definitely the fans’ fault. I was at home minding my own business and fans start creating these fan-made videos of me as Green Lantern and I looked into it.”

He added:

“I’ve been a fan of the Green Lantern.”  

“I took the oath, and I had a meeting at Warner Bros. and certain things were said and talked about. We’ll just see what happens.”

Tyrese also detailed several reasons why he would be the perfect choice to play Green Lantern, pitching:

“Listen, these muscles are here and they’re ready to be used,”

“There are a lot of people, domestically and internationally, who’s got love with your boy.”
