Hollywood Legend Lauren Bacall Dies

Hollywood Legend Lauren Bacall Dies at the age of 89, Bacall graced the stage and the silver screen she was Hollywood royalty and her legacy will live on through film.

UPDATE: Mrs.Lauren Bacall died on Tuesday in the upper West side of New York in her apartment after suffering from a stroke.

Boggy and Bacall were the Jay Z and Beyonce of their time, the sultry beauty shot to fame in the Ernest Hemingway novel turned “To Have and Have Not,” in 1944. She  played opposite Humphrey Bogart, who became her lover on the set and later her husband. Bacall’s provocative glamour elevated her to stardom in Hollywood’s golden age and whose lasting mystique put her on a plateau in American culture that few stars reach, died on Tuesday in New York. She was 89.

Mrs Bacall’s passing was confirmed by her Stephen Bogart:

“Her life speaks for itself…She lived a wonderful life, a magical life.”

Lauren Bacall was known for her seductive, throaty voice, making her a one of a kind actress in Hollywood.

In the classic “To Have and Have Not” her character says to Bogart’s in the movie’s most memorable scene and in Hollywood history:

“You know you don’t have to act with me, Steve.”

“You don’t have to say anything, and you don’t have to do anything. Not a thing. Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle, don’t you, Steve? You just put your lips together and blow.”

Man they don’t make memorable lines like that and how Lauren delivered it. Man, classic. We will miss Mrs Bacall, she was a lady that was untouchable.

Much love and prayers to her family and friends.
