George Zimmerman is UNDER FIRE for new painting targeted at Angela Corey, the prosecutor who charged him with murder.

He is definitely NOT Americas best friend or favorite person since the the senseless killing of black youth, Trayvon Martin and now he’s guns loaded with a paint brush landing himself a lawsuit!

George Zimmerman has been able to parlay his negative image in America to a controversial artist. The only problem is Zimmerman is NOT actually a true artist. He paints replicas of photos and true artists use their mind and vision to create art. What could be depicted as Pop Art, Zimmerman has made his voice heard with his in your face artwork that is making him loads of cash like his depiction of the American Flag which sold for over $100,099.99 on Ebay.

Which leads us to George Zimmerman’s latest painting which pokes fun at fun at Angela Corey, the prosecutor who charged him with murder. This time George is guns loaded with a paint brush the only problem he has received a cease and desist for the painting from AP.

With the quote, written like a ransom letter for a missing child, “I have this much respect for the American Judicial System” Zimmerman FIRES SHOTS load and clear, but was this painting too much.

It seems George is fighting back at the people who ruined his life, the only problem is it was George himself.

The painting, unveiled earlier this week, depicts Florida State Attorney Angela Corey, who charged Zimmerman with the second-degree murder of Trayvon Martin. It closely resembles an AP photo of Corey taken at a press conference in April 2012 — something the news organization is taking action against.

AP spokesperson Paul Colford confirmed in a statement to Talking Points Memo andANIMAL New York that the AP has sent Zimmerman a cease-and-desist letter. “George Zimmerman clearly directly copied an AP photo to create his painting of Florida State Attorney Angela Corey,” he said in the statement. “The AP has sent a cease-and-desist letter asserting its copyright in the photo to the lawyer who recently represented Zimmerman. That lawyer has responded, and though she no longer represents Mr. Zimmerman, she will be forwarding the letter to him today.”

Rick Wilson, the photographer who took the image for the AP, has also retained legal representation. Wilson’s lawyer John Phillips told the Orlando Sentinel that he sent Zimmerman another cease-and-desist letter, and that if Zimmerman tries to sell the painting, his client is prepared, “in conjunction with the AP, to file suit against him.”

On Thursday, Zimmerman’s brother Robert tweeted that there have been offers made for painting and that “all options, [including] affordable prints” are being considered. – Huffington Post
