CelebNMusic247.com reports Jay Z shot at Future when he raped “Never go, Eric Benét, I don’t even know what you woulda done/ In the future other niggas playin’ football with your son.”

The lyrics Jay spit raised eyebrows especially by the man he was speaking on, Future. The line is an obvious reference to baby Future, the child of Ciara and Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, aka Future. Ciara is now married to NFL star Russell Wilson, who is a physical force on the field and has secured a Superbowl ring.

Recently Future posted a PSA that it was over for THOTS because he was looking for a woman to be his wife, but he has so many baby mamas its ridiculous. This is just part of his antics while taking shots at Wilson and Ciara’s relationship, but he didn’t take too kindly to Jay’s reference of his former relationship.

Now, Future is speaking out about how the conversation between him and HOV went after he heard the line to Atlanta’s Hot 107.9.

Future claims that Jay-Z was making excuses, saying he didn’t mean it like that.

He explained:

You supposed to be biggin’ up me. I come from the streets, you come from the streets…we’re supposed to give it no negative attention for a hotline that’s something that’s always gonna be out.
