The Face Recap: Naomi and Anne-V Face Off

We maybe a little late with this season of The Face, but we will catch you up today in case you haven’t been watching one of the HOTTEST shows on Oxygen on Wednesday nightst at 8pm.

To recap the first 4 Naomi Campell, Anne V and Lydia did a pop up runway in Washington Square in New York to pick anc choose their set of 4 perfect models.

All the girls nervously went one by one into the room in front of their mentor to be chosen and one picked they were quickly thrown into a challange. Naomi’s team won, so she was the mentor to decide which model was to be sent home. Anne V and Lydia tried to be strategic and Anne V lost her first model.

Week two the girls once again were faced with a challange and Naomi’s team won so once again Anne V and Lydia thought they would play on sympathy after one of the girls made a racist comment about all the black models in the competition. For some reason Anne and  put their black model up for elimination whihc infuriated Naomi. She was forced to pick one and then she and Anne V lost one of her girls and then had some serious words.

Naomi sends in Kira the Slavic model who came into the competition confident but gets broken down and loses her drive. While Lydia sends in Ray, one of the weakest girls with the most potential.

Anne asks Kira why she thinks Naomi sent her to elimination. Kira says it’s due to her losing her confidence. She then tried to place the blame on Naomi, saying that she didn’t get enough direction from her.

Anne makes her decision, and she decides to send Kira home. At hearing her name, Kira breaks down, and in the other room, everyone can hear the confrontation, but no one knows what is going on. As the tension heats up, Naomi decides she is going to go in the elimination room and find out what is happening. Naomi tries to comfort Kira, telling her to pick herself up and prove them wrong. Kira calms down a bit, and Naomi escorts her to the exit.

Week three Lydia lost one of her girls after the models were faced with a runway walk on a table fully set for 30 people. They had to walk the runway with long trains and make sure NOT to knock anything over. This challenge was all about balance pose and grace and most all the girls made it through without disaster. Lydia lost one of her girls.

Episode 4 naomi ended up lossing another one of her girls, dropping her down to only 2. For some reason Lydia’s girl Allsion made it through the elimination room when facing Anne V. Allison cracked under pressure when she overheard Naomi and Anne talking about her which messed with her head and she failed the competition. Fashion is ruthless and models are vicious – thick skin is key if you don’t have that then modeling is NOT for you!

Week 4 Naomi Campbell lost another one of her girls and she was NOT happy. See the snippet and watch The Face:

This week in episode 5 of season 2 of The Face the mentors battled it out for a online campaign which we personally liked Naomi’s girls, but her team fell short and Anne V’s girls proved strong winning the competition.  Lydia put up Allison for the third time althugh she has potentional she tends to crack under pressure of the camera. With only two models left on her team, Naomi had a tough decision to make, and was forced to put Felisa up for elimination.

As Allison prepares for the team challenge, Nigel provides some professional advice.

Meet Naomi’s other team member who was spared the elimination room this time, Afiya Bennett.

Allison once again tried to win over Anne V, but failed to prove her worth while Felisa plead a convincing case and Anne finally sent home Allison. We were happily pleased since we felt she hit the three strikes your out rule. What’s next for The Face?
