RHOP Recap: Robyn Checks Gizelle & Ashley Over Tia

Potomac served a full plate Sunday night, and the main course was a friendship on the chopping block. Gizelle Bryant spent the episode demanding loyalty she refuses to give back, Ashley Darby got caught playing telephone with everybody’s business, and Robyn Dixon — yes, Robyn — emerged as the only one in the room actually acting like a friend. Let’s get into it, because this one was messy in the best way.

Robyn Tells Gizelle and Ashley What Nobody Else Would

The episode’s thesis statement came early, when Robyn sat Gizelle and Ashley down and told them flat-out that they are both delusional. Her issue: the two of them have been talking about Tia’s personal information — the situation with Tia’s husband and the dating-site chatter — freely, with everybody except Tia. Robyn thinks they’re completely wrong, and she didn’t sugarcoat it.

Gizelle and Ashley, of course, see nothing wrong with what they’re doing. And that right there is the problem Robyn was naming: they’re being messy, they’re gossiping, and they’re spreading a friend’s business in the streets without her knowledge. Gizelle’s behavior went even further — she took Tia’s situation to the podcast. The only reason the world didn’t hear it is that Robyn edited it out before it aired. Sit with that for a second: the person who protected Tia’s secret wasn’t her friend Gizelle. It was Robyn, with a delete key.

Karen Guards Her Privacy — and Her Marriage Is Quietly Ending

Karen Huger gave us the episode’s most honest stretch. She’s asking for privacy around her therapy, and she deserves it: she’s doing the work, talking to her therapist, and getting through one of the hardest seasons of her life as she deals with alcohol and stays sober.

And sobriety has brought clarity she never asked for. Her relationship with Ray is just fading, and Karen admitted she never wanted to see it — but now that she’s sober, she’s starting to see it. That’s a heartbreaking confession delivered without a single tear for the cameras. Later, at Courtney’s event, Karen was asked about Ray and kept it short: he’s unavailable. She’s determined to keep her failing marriage private while she figures out what comes next, and honestly? Protect your peace, Grand Dame.

Wendy Checks Gizelle Over the ‘Scammer’ Comment

Wendy Osefo had her own account to settle. She checked Gizelle for calling her a scammer, and she made the point that needed making: Wendy is Nigerian, that word cuts against her culture and everything she stands for, and it simply is not true about her. Then came the question Gizelle couldn’t answer: “You know me — so why would you say something like that?” Wendy told her plainly that it was hurtful.

Gizelle apologized. Said she’s sorry for what she said, said she’ll never do it again. And Wendy received it exactly the way the rest of us did — we’ve heard all that before. Wendy says she now sees Gizelle for exactly who she is, so she’ll be nice, she’ll be cordial, she’ll even kiki with her. But make no mistake: Wendy has filed Gizelle under “messy, stirs the pot,” and she’s tired of it. That friendship now runs on politeness, not trust.

Tia House-Hunts While Her ‘Friends’ Talk

Meanwhile, Tia showed Courtney a new home she’s eyeing for her and her husband — and this house is no joke. It’s huge, it’s gorgeous, and yes, it’s a project. Tia’s not afraid of a project, but even she knows this one means she needs to start looking at more homes before she commits. Courtney, for her part, is planning an end-of-season Wizards celebration tied to her husband Alexis’s birthday — the party that would end up hosting the night’s biggest blowup. But that’s later.

Gizelle and Ashley, meanwhile, are back promoting their GnA wellness brand, planning events and hosting a workout tied to the National Brain Tumor Society — a genuinely good cause. But even charity couldn’t keep the mess away. At the GnA event, Gizelle pulled Robyn aside, bothered that Tia had told Wendy about the “scammer” comment. Robyn — doing Gizelle’s actual job as a friend — pointed out the obvious: Gizelle went and leaked even more of Tia’s information on the podcast. Gizelle is being messy and not thinking about being a friend to Tia or Wendy. Robyn’s verdict stands: Gizelle and Ashley need to stop putting their friends’ business in the streets. It is not their place. Ashley did not take that well. File that away.

The Birthday Dinner Where It All Blew Up

Courtney’s birthday event for Alexis started innocently enough — thankfully, Alexis had his own friends show up, because the Housewives table was a war zone. Ashley arrived with Josh, and Karen, keeping it light, joked that she hopes they’ve worked through things — and that if he doesn’t have enough money, Ashley should run. (Ashley, the call is coming from inside the friendship.)

Then came the night’s one sweet moment: Stacey announced that Thiemo asked her to marry her — again — and the table erupted in congratulations. Everyone, that is, except Gizelle, who announced to the table that she doesn’t care. Classy.

That cold little comment lit the fuse. Gizelle tried to check Tia for telling Wendy about the scammer situation, and Tia clapped back beautifully: she finds that rich, coming from the woman who talked about her situation again — on a podcast — after the two of them had discussed it and Gizelle promised she wouldn’t do that anymore. Tia only knows the clip exists because Ashley told her a couple of days ago that Robyn edited it out. So let’s tally the loyalty here: Robyn protected Tia. Ashley relayed the gossip. And Gizelle, Tia’s actual friend, is the one who put her business on blast and now wants to demand loyalty she never returns.

The whole table put Gizelle on the spot for not being a friend to Tia. It was Stacey who broke it all the way down: Robyn is being a better friend to Tia than Gizelle is — and Gizelle is supposed to be Tia’s friend. That friendship is probably falling apart for good, and after this dinner, it’s hard to see how it ever recovers.

Ashley vs. Robyn: Who’s Really the Messy One?

The drama only got worse from there. Wendy brought up that Ashley had been a topic of conversation, and Ashley demanded to know what compelled her to tell Tia about Robyn editing out the podcast clip. Ashley tried to pin the “messy” crown on Robyn — and Robyn was not having it. Robyn called her out directly: Ashley is the messy one. Ashley was the one on stage laughing about the situation and hinting it would all be aired out on the show. Ashley started it, and then her friend Gizelle added to it and made it worse — on this very series. Ashley tried to spin it right back, claiming Robyn was the messy one for ever mentioning the edit at the GnA event, but nobody at that table was buying it. Ashley takes any bit of information she gets and she spreads it — that is simply her pattern, and this episode put it on full display.

And as the episode ended, Robyn was still holding Gizelle accountable for what she said. No deflection, no joke to soften it. Just accountability — something Gizelle hands out constantly and accepts never.

The 247 Take — Potomac’s real storyline this season isn’t a party or a house hunt. It’s a loyalty audit, and Gizelle is failing it in public. Robyn Dixon of all people became the moral compass, Wendy drew her line with a smile, and Tia learned the hardest lesson in the Housewives handbook: sometimes your friend is the leak. If Gizelle wants her friendships back, the apology tour needs to come with changed behavior — and Potomac is not holding its breath.
