Eddie Murphy is itching to get back on stage to perform stand-up comedy, and word is Netflix is knocking on his door.

CelebNMusic247.com is hearing that sources connected to Eddie Murphy, say that the comedian has been locked in talks with the streaming giant for an undisclosed number of comedy specials.

In fact, we’re told Eddie Murphy is in negotiations with Netflix and right now they are hovering right around $70 MILLION for the deal.  Though we’ve been unable to firmly confirm the exact figure.

If the $70 million figure is accurate, then that means he has surpassed fellow top dog comedians Dave Chappelle who scored $60 mil for 3 stand-up specials on Netflix back in 2017, and Chris Rock who got $40 million for 2 specials the year before.

$70 mil sounds astronomical, but come on man, it’s Eddie Freaking Murphy!
