Dr Dre tops another one of Forbes top money makers list. The West Coast producer has topped the Forbes Cash Kings List for 2012.
All the usual suspects are still included in this years list, but Dre has surpassed all of them in 2012.
Rounding out the top 10 Forbes Cash Kings List for 2012 are hip hop moguls Diddy and Jay-Z, Dr. Dre earned $110 million this year from his sale of 51% of Beats By Dr. Dre headphones to handset manufacturer HTC.
Beats By Dr. Dre headphones has really proved to be a great investment for Dr Dre.
Diddy racked up $45 million in earnings from his Circo vodka deal, with Jay-Z landing $38 million from his investments in the Brooklyn Nets and Carol’s Daughter, among other ventures, but all of their investments weren’t enough to land the number 1 spot, thanks to Dr Dre and his Beats By Dre.
Note the Young Money Camp dominates positions 5 through 8 [Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman]. 50 Cent [15] and Rick Ross [12] fell down the list into the bottom 10 on the list taking positions
