This year Disneyland introduced their newest Christmas adventure that is all decked out for the holiday season – if you love the Jungle Cruise then get ready because the Imagineers went far enough with the Christmas makeover. When it was announced that the ride would receive a holiday overlay this year, (the first since the Country Bear Christmas Special) fans of Disneyland were crazed with excitement.
The Jungle Cruise is known for its over-the-top corny jokes and obviously animatronics and low-tech features. The big reveal happened Friday, Nov. 8, and CelebNMusic247.com has to admit that the overlay for the holidays was truly something special. We loved the details in the holding area, boats and entry way.

The new holiday-themed monikers appear: Brrrrr Bertha, Icicle Irma, Eggnog Ennie, Poinsettia Sal and Sleigh Ride Sadie. Plus, the skippers and dock crew are wearing jungle-themed Santa hats with their regular uniforms. It is a simple sweet touch. We are sure the new headwear even got Trader Sam’s attention.

We even loved seeing candy canes, Christmas lights and Christmas trees completely decorated as we waited to board our boat on the “Jingle Cruise”. It is the perfect addition to “The Haunted Mansion,” “It’s A Small World,” the Fireworks and all the decorations around the park.
