In a lengthy article about his dog Kane, former New York Yankee Derek Jeter Confirms Secret Engagement to model Hannah Davis.
CelebNMusic247.com previously reported about Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis getting engaged, but Jeter slipped up in an article about his Italian Mastiff [dog] today confirming the RUMOR.
The retired MLB short-stop, Jeter wrote on the PlayersTribune:
“Afer I retired, I didn’t expect I’d go from one job right to another.
Meet Kane.
Kane is an Italian Mastiff. This is Kane at 10 weeks old, on one of his first days home last January
I had no idea what I was in for as a new dog owner. He was a Christmas gift last year from my fiancée, whose family had Mastiffs growing up. I’ve never owned a pet in my life.”
Jeter and Davis, 25, began dating in 2012. The athlete popped the question late last month but had not confirmed the engagement until now. On Monday, the bride-to-be showed off her gorgeous cushion-cut diamond ring while walking down Fifth Avenue in NYC.

Jeter goes on talking about Kane, saying:
“Don’t be fooled by his eyes. In his first few weeks home, Kane would look up at me with this suspicious face, like he was trying to say, “Why should I listen to you?”

He was right to be suspicious: I’ve been scared of dogs almost my entire life.”
