Demi Moore released a statement and revealed the name of the 21-year-old young man was found dead in her pool Sunday morning. His name is Edenilson Steven Valle.

Demi Moore statement [via RumorFix] about Edenilson Steven Valle death reads as follows:

“I am in absolute shock…I was out of the country traveling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got this devastating news.”

She added:

“The loss of a child is an unthinkable tragedy and my heart goes out to this young man’s family and friends,” she continued. “I ask that you please respect the privacy of all concerned during this sensitive time.”

The 21-year-old man, who reportedly did not know how to swim, had drowned in Moore’s swimming pool at her Beverly Hills home after falling into the pool. The Los Angeles Police Department does not suspect foul play and are assuming the situation an accidental drowning until the official toxicology report is complete.

Demi was not at home at the time of the incident, but sources reveal Edenilson Steven Valle was the friend of one of the A-Lister’s assistants who threw a small party at the actress’ home.

Tullulah Moore who had posted photos of a pool party she threw a few weeks ago, had NOTHING to do with this party.
