Let us introduce you to Ded:

Ded was born in the music scene of Phoenix, Arizona and has been together for 2 years. Band members Joe Cotela (Vocals), David Ludlow (Guitar), Kyle Koelsch (Bass), and Matt Reinhard (Drums) developed a friendship and ultimately a musical partnership that mixes horror and dark imagery to develop a familiar, yet unique sound that sets them apart from other bands.

Cotela says:

“With our music – we want to make the listener feel like how you feel after you’ve watched a really good horror movie – on edge, jittery… And very much alive”.

Now checkout what Joe Cortela is talking about:

The “Anti-Everything” video was directed by Fred Durst, and premiered at Loudwire on September 12th.

  • Ded is nominated for Loudwire – “Best New Artist”; is performing live and is presenting an award & walking the Red Carpet @ the Loudwire Awards in October.
  • The band walked the Red Carpet at the Alternative Press Music Awards, and Joe Cotela co-presented “Best Hard Rock” artist to the Pretty Reckless; Feature story in the September issue.

Ded has featured interviews and cover mentions over the past couple months. Frontman Joe Cotela will be featured in an upcoming Phoenix New Times article on the best Rock vocalists in Phoenix. The band has really made an impact with their metal infused pop rock sounds which has made them radio savvy.
