David Oyelowo To Be The Voice of 007!!!

After the CelebNMusic27.com team had a long heated debate we have done our research learning that David Oyelowo To Be The Voice of 007 in upcoming thriller Trigger Mortis audiobook.

At this time Daniel Craig is still James Bond on the big screen and can be seen in the upcoming Spectre movie that hits theaters in October.

As for David Oyelowo, he has beaten out Idris Elba as the first black 007, but Oyelowo will only be the voice of Bond in the audiobook, Trigger Mortis.

The Ian Fleming estate reached out to the former Henry VI actor, who performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company – which made him the first black actor to play an English king in a major Shakespeare production. But Oyelowo groundbreaking performances don’t end there, he also played the MI5 officer Danny Hunter in the BBC TV drama Spooks, as well as, Martin Luther King in Selma, which landed him critical acclaim.

These days David Oyelowo is one of Hollywood’s it boys. He is in high demand and now with the James Bond audiobook he has landed prestige to his many accomplishments.

Oyelowo will play Bond, and other characters, in the audiobook version of Trigger Mortis, written by Anthony Horowitz and commissioned by the Ian Fleming estate.

Oyelowo describing himself:

I’m “very honored.”

 “I am officially the only person on planet Earth who can legitimately say: ‘I am the new James Bond’ – even saying that name is the cinematic equivalent of doing the ‘to be or not to be’ speech.”

He added:

“I was asked specifically by the Fleming estate, which is really special.”

David can be seen in a few upcoming films like Five Nights in Maine, Captive, Three Seconds, A United Kingdom, Nina (the Nina Simone biopic opposite of Zoe Saldana and Mike Epps who will be playing Richard Pryor), and Queen of Katwe.
