Despite the recent Kendrick Lamar verse that got hip hop talking, Wale faced his own critics when David Otunga dissed him about his Bad remix with Rihanna.

Though, Wale did weigh in on Kendrick Lamar’s verse telling a TMZ paparazzi he’s not angry at all about Kendrick naming him in the verse, but he would have been offended if his name wasn’t brought up in the controversial lyrics.

Wale says:

“I’d been offended if my name wasn’t in that sh*t. So shout out to TDE and shout out to Kendrick. I’d a felt a way if my name wasn’t in the verse.

“I still feel like I’m the best rapper on the planet. I feel like that. You should too TMZ.”

Jennifer Hudson‘s husband David Otunga, the I Love New York reality star turned professional WWE Wrestler/actor made a critic on Wale’s Bad remix that features Rihanna, you know the remix that replaces Tiara Thomas.

We spoke to an insider and got the dish on Wale. According to our industry source “Wale did the song with Tiara Thomas with the intentions that she would sign to his imprint.”  The source told us “when things didn’t go his way, and Tiara Thoma decided to sign with Interscope he quicly replaced her on the track.”

The source adds, “Wale and Tiara Thomas wrote the song, but our insider also told us that he was not giving her her due credit which helped lean towards Interscope when picking a label for representation.”

“The song was quickly re-released with Rihanna as the female vocalist on the track and Tiara Thomas removed,” the source concluded.

Scandalous!

David Otunga’s love for Hip Hop was on full display when he got involved in the Twitter debate regarding rappers people felt should not have been named in Kendrick’s epic verse.

David actually decided to tweet Wale and tell him he shouldn’t have been named but of course Wale wasn’t having it!
