Daniel Radcliffe Hates Himself in Harry Potter Half-Blood Prince

When is comes to the Harry Potter franchise which many of us love, the biggest critic is Harry, see Daniel Radcliffe Hates Himself in Half-Blood Prince!

In a bit of self-loathing, Radcliffe gives himself a brutal self-appraisal of his performances in the Harry Potter films saying that he could tell that he became complacent, CelebNMusic247.com has learned.

The actor who rose to fame can now look back realizing that he felt he was “one-note” in the fantasy franchise, written by JK Rowling‘s about a boy wizard journey across eight films from 2001 to 2011.

Daniel Radcliffe has been able to parlay his wizard wand into a acting career like Emma Watson, but when speaking to the Daily Mail, the British actor described the Potter films as a blessing, but admitted that he finds them difficult to watch.

Daniel feels that there are far too many “mistakes other actors get to make in rehearsal rooms or at drama school [unlike himself], are all on film for everyone to see”.

The What If star explains:

“That’s why it’s hard to watch a film like Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, because I’m just not very good in it. I hate it,” he said.

“My acting is very one-note and I can see I got complacent and what I was trying to do just didn’t come across. My best film is the fifth one (Order of the Phoenix) because I can see a progression.”

Despite Radcliffe’s views, he believes that Harry Potter creator JK Rowling is a fan of his interpretation.

“To my knowledge she was always very happy with the way I played him, but it’s my job to be critical,” he commented.

You can see Daniel Radcliffe in the new romantic comedy What If, which hits theaters on August 20th.
