Outkast has made an impact in hip hop music until the end of time. The Atlanta duo that electrified the hip hop scene in 1992 has kept their music fresh.

Outkast is best describe musically with their mixture of Dirty South and G-funk, after gaining their popularity after the single “Player’s Ball” reached number one on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart.

Over the years Outkast has released the following albums;  ATLiens (1996), Aquemini (1998), Stankonia (2000), Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (2003) and the soundtrack for Idlewild (2006). Since then Big Boi has release his solo projects;  Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty (2010) and his upcoming album (2012) Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors

From the very beginning the Andre 3000 and Big Boi have broken boundaries with their innovative sound and style. To this day Andre and Big Boi still have a huge following ad rumors of another album was in the works. In 2011 Sleepy Brown confirmed to us that an album was in the works, but since then, both Boi and Andre has dispelled the rumors. Andre 3000 is currently working on the highly anticipated Jimi Hendrix biopic while Big Boi continues to make music. He recently released his newest single “Gossip” from his upcoming solo project.

Though, Outkast may not have another album coming out anytime soon they remain as one of the best in hip hop to date. Their style, energy and creative video will remain a legacy in hip hop’s ever-growing history.
