CelebNMusic247.com reports that Taylor Swift recently released the star-studded visual to her single “You Need To Calm Down,” a video that includes Ciara officiating a wedding.

In the video, Ciara officiats a wedding in Taylor Swift video between actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson (from Modern Family) and lawyer Justin Mikita. The couple were married back in 2013, in real life.

Ciara shared a clip of the wedding scene on her Instagram page with the caption:

Wedding is Lit #Equality #YNTCDmusicvideo.

Well, Ciara’s happy moment on social media was quickly RUINED when a fan thought that the singer was doing her religion a disservice by supporting gay marriage.

Ciara. You shouldn’t be doing this. We respect u too much, Being at a gay wedding is one thing and joining them together is even more a greater sin. We love you but this is wrong.

First, to the person who wrote this above in her comments section, do you personally know Ciara?

More than likely NO! We understand your beliefs with religion, but you don’t have a right to preach them to Ciara. It is a music video, “make belief” – whoever you are, get a grip and focus on real problems, NOT something Trump has brainwashed you to hate. Love is Love and God loves all, stop trying to make gay people feel less than.

Russell Wilson’s wife usually doesn’t respond to critical comments, but she made time to reply with a classy clapback:

Firstly, Christians don’t judge. Secondly, #YouNeedToCalmDown.

Ciara fans are lashing out and defended their queen:

Being gay seems to be the only sin people are concerned with… meanwhile tia is sleeping with anna’s husband and billy is shooting random people. Joe is robbing the bank, and timmy is lying to his mom while robin is a drunk. BYEEEEE…. mind the business that pays you when it comes to people’s sins. This is why the church attendance continues to drop. Nothing but judgement

#lovewins #equality – For those of you grabbing at the straws of Christianity, please remember to live and let live. We will all face our judgment. Carry on with your day, if you have nothing positive to say…

Y’all judging her but let’s see what the Bible says about that and all sins are equal period!

If you’re going to use the old testament to try and condemn HOMOSEXUALITY, make sure you ALSO condemn people who EAT PORK, HAVE PREMARITAL SEX, HAVE TATTOOS/PIERCINGS, WEAR TWO DIFFERENT FABRICS, OR GET DIVORCED. Thank you for listening to my TED-talk.

We out here mad judging ppl that sin differently from us while we tuck our own skeletons neatly in the closet. The Bible asked us to also love each other. It warned us not to judge let God pass judgement all u high priest in the comments section.

All these homophobic comments.. they were happy when the lgbtq community was being bullied , killed, murdered.. kicked out… Disowned.. As soon as they are supported , loved , cherished, given equal rights.. all of a sudden it’s a problem. Homophobia is wrong… Let people live love and get married.
