Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell posted a series of things on his Facebook just one day before taking his own life after his last performance with his Soundgarden band mates. He wrote that he missed the camaraderie with his friends.

Early reports are confirming that he died from suicide, but a full autopsy report, including toxicology results has not yet been completed.
As we stated earlier, his wife, Vicky, became concerned when she couldn’t reach Chris after the show. Shortly there after, police discovered his body on the bathroom floor.
Just 24 hours before taking his life, Chris Cornell posted his thoughts about his life and what he missed on Facebook
Chris Cornell wrote:
“What I look forward to the most — because I tour so much, especially the last couple of years, by myself — is the camaraderie. It’s what we missed when we weren’t a band.”
His death was very symbolic. Chris took his life last night [Wednesday] after Soundgarden performed on the 12th day of their 18 city tour, but what stands out is that he took his life in Detroit aka Detroit Rock City. The city known to rock the hardest. The band had been making music for three decades to adoring fans and this year they were celebrating and touring for the 25 anniversary of their 1991 BadmotorFinger album.
