Flip and get the details on Chris Brown winning legal battle and the drug addiction claims…
Shortly after the incident Mike G filed a lawsuit against Brown alleging that the singer beat him, and that Breezy allegedly failed to pay commissions owed for personal services.
Local outlet Encino Patch reports that court papers show Mike G lost his bid to seize $1.5 million in assets from the singer. Then, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Chalfant rejected the motion brought by lawyers for Michael Guirguis and his firm, Nitevision Management. The motion sought the entertainer’s assets in his deposit accounts and his interests in real estate but not his residence nor his earnings.
Mike G alleged that Breezy defamed him and his firm on Instagram. Apparently, Brown posted claims that he fired Nitevision because Guirguis stole money from him.
Meanwhile his former manager accused Brown of living beyond his means. He said Brown lost his Las Vegas residency at Drai’s Beachclub and Nightclub in 2016 — a contract that brought $3 million dollars a year. The singer, a huge draw in Vegas, got his gig back in February.
This makes sense why Chris was posting the Instavideo about don’t believe what you hear, because he’s been trying to throw everyone off.
According to the article, Chris Brown is in a “downward spiral” of drug abuse and destructive behavior. Billboard did an expose on Breezy and his troubles/denial about being addicted. He drinks lean on the regular, smokes plenty of weed, and other extra caricuals allegedly. The story os ALL about the troubled R&B star on a path to self destruction.
Describing one day last year, Billboard’s Danielle Bacher writes [per SPIN]:
A delivery man arrived and began ringing Brown’s doorbell. “Do your f—ing job!” barked Brown at one of his security guards, a hulking man who had been living for the past three-and-a-half years in the home. But the guard, who was off duty, was asleep, and his partner was outside. Like many other nights, the guard had stayed up late to check Brown’s pulse…
…The bell rang again — this time, it was a construction worker who had been employed at the house all week. Brown paced back and forth. Finally, he lost his temper. “I’m going to show you what it’s like not to work with Chris Brown for two weeks!” he shouted at the guards, kicking them both out of his house.
