Chief Keef has kept up his image on Instagram, but new details have surfaced that the Chitown rapper Chief Keef is going Back To Jail Today!
Chief Keef born Keith Cozart, is going back to jail. The Chicago rapper is heading back to jail for a 20 days stint behind bars after testing positive for marijuana.
The Chicago Tribune reports:
Cozart had been required to undergo random drug testing after pleading guilty to a speeding ticket he received over the summer, said Sophia Ansari, a spokeswoman for the Cook County Sheriff’s office. He was ordered to jail during a hearing at the Skokie Courthouse, Ansari said.
Officials earlier said he was sentenced to 10 days. Cozart, 18, paid $531 to settle the ticket he got after he was clocked going 110 mph behind the wheel of a BMW on the Edens Expressway at Winnetka Road in the early morning hours of May 27. He was placed on probation for 18 months and ordered to undergo random drug testing.
Chief Keef is constantly having trouble with the law, and while he had missed a court date last month, which lead to a warrant for his arrest. Then Sosa seemed to be otherwise keeping himself out of trouble, even releasing his long-delayed Almighty So mixtape last week. Keef took to Instagram to acknowledge his return trip to the bing.

It thus came as a surprise when Keef announced via Instagram that he was headed to jail this morning. While the GBE rapper did not specify why he had been ordered to do time, FSD reports that it likely stemmed from the unpaid child support and missed court appearance from September.
An earlier Instagram post indicates that Sosa won’t be locked up for long, reading “Makin Glo Pumpkins Since I go to jail Tommoro ! See Y’all On The 25th”.
