When it comes to Miley Cyrus and her twerk-fueled performance during the MTV VMA performance, the legendary Cher is NOT a fan!

Cher, 67, who is herself is no stranger to controversy, told the newspaper that she wasn’t shocked or offended by Cyrus’ twerk-and-jerk with Robin Thicke during the VMAs, but rather the lack of talent it took to do so.

Ouch, that one of the harshest disses to date towards Cyrus, because Cher is BLASTING her for having no talent. Eeeek?

The legendary diva, Cher told USA Today in an interview:

“I’m not old-fashioned.”

“She could have come out naked, and if she’d just rocked the house, I would have said, ‘You go, girl.’ It just wasn’t done well. She can’t dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn’t great, one cheek was hanging out. And, chick, don’t stick out your tongue if it’s coated.”

And this comes from a woman who pushed the envelope showing off her booty in the 1989 hit video, “If I Could Turn Back Time.”

In fact, Cher dancing around the USS Missouri in a one-piece fishnet stocking over a V-shaped bathing suit that appeared to be no more than masking tape covering her lady parts — was at one point banned by MTV.  It was one of the BEST video of 89, and Cher proved she had what it takes to stay relevant in music and continues to do so today. Even today the outfit is one of Cher’s most classic looks to date, which is only one among many, but yet the most controversial. Miley is nowhere close to Cher on any level.

Let’s be real, when you think of true iconic pop talent there are only a few, Cher, Madonna, Elton John, Prince, Britney Spears, and Jennifer Lopez, and the late Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. They ALL stay true their game and true to themselves and that’s why we love them.

Cher is about to embark on a tour for her latest album, “Closer to the Truth,” her first album since 2002.
