Despite Lil Wayne BLASTING Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper, Texan rapper Bun B says there are larger race issues to deal with.
Bun B feels that Riley has learned from his mistake of using of the N-word in a derogatory manor at Kenny Chesney concert last week.
Riley Cooper has drawn much criticism, but Bun B has decided to weigh in the controversy, indicating that while the receiver’s actions were wrong, he will face consequences, and the event is a small instance within a larger issue in America.
Bun said:
“He obviously knows he messed up.”
“He’s got a long football season in order to deal with the ramifications. The field’s 100 yards and he’s a receiver so he got to go across the middle a lot.”
The UGK rapper pointed towards the grand scheme of race relations in America. “We’ve got bigger things to worry about than just this.”
“There’s bigger issues with the word and what’s going on in America right now with relations.”
