The suit claims the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” dad was “careless and negligent” when he rear-ended 69-year-old Kim Howe’s white Lexus on Feb. 7.
Two of Howe’s adult stepchildren filed the suit, which also claims that Jenner was speeding — contrary to police sources who said that he was actually driving under the speed limit when his dark blue Cadillac Escalade pushed Howe’s car into oncoming traffic.
Jenner previously told officials that there was no way he could have avoided the fatal crash, saying Howe slammed on her brakes without warning.
The two relatives listed damages, including loss of affections, though they reportedly had very little relationship with their stepmom, who lived in Calabasas, Calif.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the crash.
The results of that investigation will be sent to the district attorney’s office, but criminal prosecution is unlikely.
