On Saturday night Bobby Brown’s wife Alicia Etheridge and was admitted to the hospital. A worried Brown, who was in a sound check at the time of the incident had his wife rushed to the hospital. Brown went to the hospital with his wife, and she was released later that evening, according to Gossipextra.
Brown took to the stage with New Edition at the hotel in Florida two hours later than planned, and Alicia Etheridge reportedly watched the show from backstage.
Brown did not address the drama during the band’s set, but he did tell the audience about his recent stint in rehab, declaring:
“I’m seven and a half years off of narcotics, 21 days clean of alcohol, and I go by the name Bad A** Bobby Brown.”
CNM247, reported earlier that Brown completed a three-week stint in rehab last month after he admitted he was suffering from an alcohol problem.
