Big Freedia Back With More Bounce!!!

The Queen Diva, Girl Down, Big Freedia Back With More Bounce in season 4 of Big Freedia as she is gearing up for a European tour, new book, and new album airing Wednesday on FUSE.

Last night on the premiere of Big Freedia on the next phase of her career. Freedia is gearing up to go on his European tour so she stops by New Orleans radio station 93.3 to chop it a little.

Next she takes her PR rep around her hometown of New Orleans, where she grew up, her school, her workplace and the clubs where she first started the Big Freedia movement.

Then its back home to pack her bags and head to New York with her bounce Shake Team to perform, work on new music and blend EDM with Bounce and calling it BEDM.  Later, Freedia gets a shock when she meets with the meet with publishers because Freedia is writing a autobiography Big Freedia: God Save the Queen Diva!.

First, he needs to make sure that her now ex-boyfriend, Devon Hurst, gets her things out of her house when she comes back from touring. Freedia is no longer putting up with her man Devon cheating, so they’re on a break.

While in New York, she takes a moment to speak with the LGBT youth about gender identity and how to be comfortable with yourself.  She wanted to speak and give back to the community since she never had that opportunity when she was younger.

Next, the crew heads to perform in Brooklyn:

As always, Big Freedia’s manager, Renee Moncada-McElroy is still striving to make Freedia a household name, while his tour Manager Melvin “Boss” Foley is busy preparing for Freedia’s new European tour. Meanwhile, his bounce Shake Team have some dreams of their own – New Orleans native Antonique Price, aka Tootie, has proved there are no limits when it comes to performing for an audience, Skip has his eye on Broadway. He wants to create a new dance style that merges Bounce with tap.

Then, Flash wants to expand his talents and get behind the microphone, Tamika Marie Jett trying to only focus on dance and not get into with Tootie and then there is the son of legendary DJ Dynamite Red and his brother DJ Louie Lou, Jaun, the DJ/producer/songwriter/vocalist who makes breathes the beat to Freedia bounce movement.

Last but not least is Freedia’s friend Katey Red, she’s the mother of Bounce and Big Freedia’s mentor. Katey was one of the first Bounce stars in New Orleans and the first transgender Bounce rapper.

The season kicked off with a bang and as always Freedia brought the bounce to Brooklyn. Skip started learning tape dancing from Tamika beginning his quest for the spotlight on Broadway.

It was good to see more of his dancers this season talking about their dreams an aspirations, so we look forward to more from Skip, because he is an increadible dancer.
