Get the details why Beyonce Coachella Headline NOT Happening…
It was obvious that she would NOT be able to perform, but we guess that she was hoping for the best. But don’t lose hope to see Beyonce headlining Coachella, because she will be back in 2018 as the headliner.
Yonce and Goldenvoice explain why Beyonce Coachella is a no go!
In a statement released by Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice, the pop star had to pull out of the famed festival under doctor’s orders.
The statement reads as follows:
“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
The headliners for Coachella are Radiohead (Friday – April 14 and 21) and Kendrick Lamar (Sunday – April 16 and 23) – The Saturday (April 15 and 22) spot is open at this time. However, we are hearing rumblings that Metalica and Daft Punk may replace Bey. Yonce was set to be the first female act to headline Coachella since Bjork in 2007.
This is better, watching a pregnant Bey live is a snore fest. Her Grammy performance was terribly boring. We don’t care what people said. Bottom line watching a pregnant woman sit and sing in a chair that leaned back was wack!
Other performers at this year’s Coachella include Lorde, the xx, Bon Iver, Future, Gucci Mane, Justice, DJ Snake, DJ Khaled and Father John Misty.
