Earlier this week, Beyonce finally addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding her lip-synching of the national anthem at President Barack Obama’s inauguration.
She explained to the media at a press conference admitted that she did, indeed, sing along to a pre-recorded track, but she still sang!
Beyonce is tired of the ridicule, because let’s be real Mrs Knowles can blow and anyone who doesn’t believe that is foolish. Beyonce also added that as part of her promoting her performance at the Super Bowl this week that she will be singing during the half time show at the Super Bowl.
Bey told press:
“I practice until my feet bleed and I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. Due to no proper sound check, I did not feel comfortable taking a risk.”
“It was about the president and the inauguration, and I wanted to make him and my country proud, so I decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry. And I’m very proud of my performance.”
And for the record CelebNMusic247 would like to add that almost all singer and rappers sing over their tracks these days so they can dance and move around the stage to put on a show for fans…Singing over tracks is done by every artist, so they can give a good quality sound.
If you want artists to sing raw then go back to the 60s & 70s when artist sang on stage and sounded like shit! So me sounded great because they had talent, and the rest should have stayed in the studio…that is why musicians have tracks these days and all sound great in concert. No one really sings complete live anymore!
Real singing groups are like Pearl Jam, Silver Sun Pickups, Smashing Pumpkins, Wu Tang Clan, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters and more…but when it come to the divas, expect tracks to be part of the show!
And for the record of worst lip-sync goes to Ashlee Simpson for her dreadful career ending performance when the record skipped while performing!
Her excuse still kills me!
