Agents at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) probed two members of the Wu-Tang Clan over the murder of a pair of drug dealers in New York in 1999.

The two reported Staten Island and New York drug dealers, Jerome “Boo Boo” Estella and Corey “Shank Bank” Brooker were murdered in unrelated incidents. Two rival drug dealers, Anthony and Harvey Christian have been convicted of running a 20-year drug empire, as well as ordering the fatal Estrella attack.

Now, 16-years later the brothers’ attorney, Michael Gold, has “demanded” prosecutors take a closer look at all parties involved with the crime, according to The New York Post.

The revelation was made in documents filed at a court in Brooklyn following the conviction of two men for ordering the killing of 17-year-old Jerome ‘Boo Boo’ Estella.

It emerged that Estella had been accused of robbing the brother of Wu-Tang Clan star RZA, and FBI agents launched a probe to see if the star had any connection to the killing. They also investigated the possibility that another bandmember, Raekwon, had links to the death of another dealer, Corey ‘Shank Bank’ Booker.

Neither star was charged, and convicted drug king pins Anthony and Harvey Christian have been found guilty of ordering the murder of Estrella.

Booker was killed just a few days after Estrella and that case remains unsolved.
