The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports:
The bodies of Stokes and Bambino, born Edward Reeves were found off Highway 80. The first body was found in a wooded area off the area’s County Road 13 while the second body was located in the woods four miles away from the first.
Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson told AJC.com:
“They were not far off of the road at all. It looks like somebody placed them there. I don’t think they were killed there.”
The site explains, Gold, 29, and Stokes, 30 were driving a 2016 white Honda CR-V with a Georgia license plate en route to Alabama on November 5th, and were last seen at the Sky Bar where Stokes was promoting a party in their hometown of Montgomery. “They just vanished into thin air,” Stokes’ mother, Felicia Stokes Webster told AL.com. “It’s very devastating.”
Currently, the Macon County Sheriff’s Office, the Montgomery Police Department and the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation are all working together to solve the homicides.
