What we find funny is every one keeps saying Amy Winehouse would have loved this new version of her 2007 hit “Back To Black.”
Well Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse is speaking for her and by what he is saying the 27 club legend would have thought the track to The Great Gatsby was straight up garbage.
Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse took to Twitter and voiced his disdain for Andre’s contribution in particular.
Mitch tweeted:
“I just heard the Andre part of ‘Back to Black.’ Terrible. He should have let Beyonce do it all. Mitch!”
Winehouse had already admitted previously that he wasn’t happy about his daughter’s song being revisited for the film.
“I don’t think she brings anything to it,” he told the Daily Mail. “I wasn’t asked for my permission if they could record it.”
