Wow, I can’t believe someone outbeat Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’divorce which only lasted a mere 72–day.
The only difference is Kim scammed the country with a media blitz allegedly making millions while Evelyn got a head butt to the head. The reality show “Basketball Wives,” Lozada pulled the plug on their union after telling cops Johnson turned violent Saturday evening when she confronted him over a receipt for condoms found in his car.
Basically, Evelyn has every right to file for divorce, because the head butt, accidental or NOT is un-called for. Evelyn is calling her marriage to Chad Ochocinco “irretrievably broken.”
Evelyn Lozada filed Tuesday in Florida after six weeks of marriage, her rep told the Daily News.
“I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred. I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death,” Johnson said in a statement on his website Tuesday.
As soon as word broke that she filed for divorce, Chad broke his silence and publically apologized. He has lost his reality series on VH1, his wide reciever job with the Miami Dolphins and now his wife.
Well everything happens in three, so hopefully, Chad can straighten up and get back on track.
Just to quickly recap, former NFL player Chad Ochocinco was arrested over the weekend for allegedly head-butting wife Evelyn Lozada. But this is not the first time he has gotten in trouble for domestic violence.
Moreover, Chad Johnson has got his news and is trying to clean his mess by apologizing for the domestic dispute that landed him in jail.
